Internet spending continues to grow at an incredible pace - in 2006 consumers spent over £30 billion online. However, whilst undoubtedly convenient, the question remains whether online shopping can really match the pleasure of the high street shopping experience.

Indeed, many online retailers are still lagging behind with poor site usability, poor integration of online and offline sales experiences, and insufficiently executed online advertising.
