Description

Fostering the UK's digital talent - the young people who will run the IT sector in years to come - has never been more important. With the publication of Lord Stephen Carter's Digital Britain report this summer, we can expect an increased focus on the contribution of digital skills to society and to the competitiveness of every sector of the economy. Registrations are now open to attend an e-skills UK event focused on what more can be done to attract young people to study and to pursue careers in IT.

Lord Stephen Carter will be the keynote speaker at the event taking place on Tuesday 7th July in London

If you are interested in attracting and recruiting future digital talent, secure your place now! e-skills UK will share the work we are already doing to attract more talented individuals into technology related degrees and careers, and will showcase the work we are doing with schools and young people through our successful BigAmbition programme. Young people who have benefited from BigAmbition will also be present to share what they are doing in IT and their passion for digital careers, and attendees will have a chance to debate the issues and to share ideas for securing the digital talent of the future.

Space at the event is limited so if you would like to join us, please register your interest as soon as possible. Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the event.
