The focus will be to try and demystify the tender process to increase your understanding as well increase your potential to generate more work. Equally, by understanding the documentation as well as appreciating the requirements of the person posting the tender might reduce the time& energy spent in preparing an application.

Too often Cumbria based businesses tenders applications do got get past the first stage of the assessment process, and work is often won by businesses outside of the county, one must ask how this should be address. We have asked three large Cumbria tendering organisations to provide some feedback to businesses in order to try and demystify by providing some information regarding the scoring systems and criteria used when assessing applications
