Do you design or develop websites and want to learn how to create themes for WordPress? Or, maybe you already develop themes but want a better understanding of how they work so that you can do more with them. If that is the case then you need to attend this workshop!
Run by Rachel McColin, author of WordPress – Pushing the Limits, and held at Shropshire’s very own purpose built conference centre, this workshop will be a full day of hands on training.
This workshop is designed to teach you how to create your own theme on a self-hosted WordPress website. Starting with an overview of how themes work and the anatomy of a typical theme, and moving on to an introduction to “The Loop”, templates, functions and widgets.
