Subject: | FLASH: Please test a simple hybrid site |

Hi Flashers,
I'm putting together a not-very-flash hybrid site for my ex-wife in Brittany:
<http://www.for-sale-in-france.com/albertine>
By "hybrid", I mean there's a little bit of Flash with a lot of
conventional HTML. In France, there's an old joke about a delicacy called
nightingale meat paste, described by its manufacturers as "a 50/50 blend of
nightingale and horse meat". That's to say, it's made by mixing together
the exotic flesh of a single nightingale with the minced meat obtained from
a single horse. And that's a good metaphor for the Flash/HTML composition
of my site.
I'll be pleased to receive harsh criticism of my maquette... and maybe even
a tiny file of finely-chosen delicate sounds to replace the present stuff.
Incidentally, my Internet service provider must be very bright (that's a
brazen plug for the Kyxar firm in the lovely nearby city of Romans) because
they reacted instantly to the threat of an STFM ("set the f--- mime")
posting from our much-appreciated specialist in that domain. (I'm joking,
of course; John is far too polite to employ language of that kind :^)
Thanks for your help,
William
