FLASH: OT: good sound application for aiffs?

hey everyone,


I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good free/cheap sound clip

manipulator for the mac? I've been working on a cd rom using Flash for a

while now, and I'm trying to add some sound in the background. I used to

use Cool Edit when on a PC, and I've found Sound Effects and Sample

Editor for the Mac, which seem like they would be good if they didn't

keep crashing my machine. Anyone know of anything better?
