you'd have to put the variable assignment in a function, then call that from
the get URL

If anyone HAS found a workaround to insert a variable into a javascript
command
sent from Flash, I would be very interested to hear how it is done.
As far as I could tell it was not possible to getURL with something like
"javascript:'function(" + variable + ")'" as one might expect.
