Subject: UKNM: Viral Marketing raises its ulgy head (again)
From: Chris Thomas
Date: Tue, 19 Dec 2000 14:01:52 GMT

Hi all!

Ok, I've been dying to have a crack at viral marketing so here's my
attempt.

I've read everyone's opinions on UKNM very carefully, made notes*,
discussed opt-in/out boxes with colleagues and friends, seen other
people's attempts, threw together some little prototype examples (and
won over everyone who tested them for me), thought about things until
my ears bled**, put forward a good argument for my choices and
reasoning to my managing director, and pinched ideas left right and
centre.

After due care and consideration, I've decided to ignore all the
stuff I didn't like, and just please myself and my own sense of humor.

What does everyone think... Oh, hang on a minute, rather than thinly
disgusing this post as a topic starter, go here and play it:

Yes, it's Flash. Yes, you have to download about 370k. Yes, I want
you to send it to your mates.

I'll let you all know how it's going, if enough people are
interested. Please let me know if you think I've done something
right, something wrong, or something stupid. Ta!

Chris.
