Over the Air 2016 - London's Annual Tech Fest

Over the Air is a 2-day Hackathon that features 1 Keynote Speaker, 10 Lightning Talks, 12 Award Categories, 36 hours of Hacking, 40 Workshops, and 500+ participants. It takes place at St. John’s Hoxton, London on the 25th & 26th of November, and all are welcome to camp overnight on the grounds or sleep in the main building or Marquees.

Thanks to our friends at Momo London for the heads-up that applications are now open for year's Vodafone Mobile Clicks competition. 

The competition is open to startups from seven countries (Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, the Republic of Ireland, Spain, Turkey or the United Kingdom) and has a rather juicy €225,000 up for grabs for the leading mobile site, service or applications.

Following on from the above post about last night’s Mobile Marketing shindig we’ve summarised the top design and content mistakes that companies make when they transfer their online site to the mobile web.

Worthy of bearing in mind, I’m sure you’ll agree:

1) Not environmentally specific

2) Ignoring limitations of mobile devices

3) Failing to exploit the possibilites of mobile devises - it takes calls, its a calendar, it contains gps – you can take advantage of all of these.
