Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire
Dates: 8 week programme over the Summer

TAMBA are offering Summer Internships for the second time this year. Each internship will last 8 weeks and interns will be invited to choose to work in either our client services or creative departments. Interns who shine will be offered a permanent role at the end of the scheme.

You’ll get to work on a range of exciting and famous brands, build some great professional skills for your CV and meet some fantastic industry contacts.

To qualify, you will be graduate-level with a passion for digital media. You’ll have a good grounding in online and be keen to learn in a busy agency environment. Excellent time-keeping and presentation is a must as is a willingness to get stuck in.

The internships are unpaid, however reasonable travel costs will be paid.

Geocast is looking for two bright, enthusiastic interns to help us with the launch of SHOPARAZZI, the world’s most advanced shopping app for smartphones. You must share our enthusiasm for fashion, leading edge mobile apps, and have an intimate relationship with your own Android or iPhone.

Social Media Internship. You will work with the company’s founders to drive the social media strategy for our new shopping/fashion app. No previous experience is necessary, but you must have good written communication skills and a keen interest in: fashion, Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms.

Digital Mobile Product Internship: You will work with the company’s founders to source quality content for our new shopping/fashion app. You must have some coding skills and/or experience building websites or apps. Ideally you also have a keen interest in fashion.

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the Planning door. As a Research and Planning intern you will be tasked with doing background research, consumer insight development and competitor analysis across a wide variety of industries and brands – from automotive to entertainment. Your role will be integral to how our creatives, designers and developers shape their ideas and use new technologies. 


  • Working from a brief you will be responsible for critiquing current research and trends and presenting your findings back to your peers
  • You will investigate brand competitors, analyzing their approach and have the ability to make recommendations on the back of this
  • Manage the day to day updating and curation of our planning and research blog
  • Work closely with all areas of the business

Experience and Skills

  • A Marketing, Advertising, Business or Media degree is essential
  • A proven passion for all things digital

  • Knowledge/experience of SEO and Keyword Search
  • Ability to conceptualize research
  • Ability to critique information and put work and research into context.

Job Profile

You must be able to submit upon application a portfolio of previous work demonstrating the ability to build smart, bespoke, interactive online experiences - suitable examples would be dynamic banners, interactive media, games, bespoke / branded content and any relevant digital / web projects.

Strong abilities in Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop are a necessity, as well as being able to display drawing skills of a high standard. The successful candidate will also show a keen eye for UI layout, and knowledge in design principles for User Experience flow. 

A strong command of the following skill areas would be expected from any hopeful applicant:- 

  • Flash + Actionscript (any of AS2 or AS3, Flex etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • A strong, autonomous work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive
  • A positive attitude and team mentality
  • Optimise design visuals for Flash graphics and ActionScript.
  • Ability to translate visual mock-ups and storyboards to a useable product, whilst demonstrating an eye for visual precision and attention to detail.
  • Complete understanding of all browser based Flash integration and interaction.
  • A passion for usability issues & requirements.
