Event Description

Running a business is all about reaching your target customer base, and there is increasing recognition for the importance of active engagement & the need to support your user community. There are plenty of tools to do so (Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Ning, Meetup, UserVoice) but how do you decide which ones to use and how to use them effectively?

At this workshop, Margaret Gold will talk about creating and executing a strategy for the effective use of social media tools, and introduce several approaches to turning social media tools into powerful marketing platforms. The workshop will touch on the subjects of improving web traffic, building your brand, the product feedback cycle, the power of Word-of-Mouth and other aspects of marketing for start-ups and digital businesses.

This workshop will be present by Margaret Gold, founder of The Mobile Collective and co-organiser of Over the Air.

Doors open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start, please arrive in good time so as not to disrupt the presentation. Drinks and snacks will be provided as we appreciate you'll probably have been working hard all day. If you have any questions relating to the series please contact Caroline Heron at carolineatminibarlabs [dot] com.
