Description

2Pears have to date trained over 600 tech startups to pitch for funding taking them through our well-respected pitch training workshops supported by UKTI.

A large number of tech and music-tech startups subsequently pitch at the evening pitch competitions TechPitch 4.5 and Music TechPitch 4.5, using the events as a platform to gain more awareness for their startup and to connect with potential investors, angels, VCs and journalists. Many of these startups have gone on to big and bright things following pitch training and pitching at TechPitch 4.5, you can read about them specifically on the 4.5 Blog.

Up until now the 2Pears pitch training workshops have been free of charge to all tech startups. However, due to reduced budget support we are introducing a small fee of £27.95 per startup (including 2 founders or persons to be trained per startup). This is partly to cover our costs with organising the workshop, but also to ensure that anybody who signs up for the pitch training workshop is committed to attending.

About the pitch workshops:

The pitch-training workshops are available to attend for startups, small and early stage businesses in the UK and European tech companies looking to set up business in UK.

The pitch training workshops provide a crucial first step for startups looking for funding.

The half-day session cover:

-       how to put a pitch presentation together and what to include

-       guidance and feedback on delivery skills

-       how to overcome nerves and body language

-       how to maximise networking opportunities at the event

Surrounded by fellow entrepreneurs, you will benefit from a supportive environment, as well as honest and insightful feedback from your peers on your pitch. At times you will even receive good tips for your business model or technology too!
